Subject: a couple of photos from 552

Sample 551 (80:20) also changed quickly in the SEM column, with the ice (particularly along the surface, as opposed to the ice more "hidden" in recessed pores) sublimating quite rapidly. I left one image at slightly higher resolution here because it's by far the best image of the ice + qtz grain contacts, and was taken very early before much change had taken place. Some crushed qtz grains here, but most are intact. Some holes in the ice, like other samples.
